In 2009 a group of local, independently owned businesses came together to found the Sustainable Independent Business Alliance. Our founders and members share a vision, mission and set of values that promote local independence and sustainability as the keys to the future success of their business, the area economy and their community.
Through SIBA our members are connected to a local community of like-minded individuals and a national movement for creating local living economies. SIBA is a member network of the ground-breaking national organization, Business Alliance of Local Living Economies (BALLE).
